This new space is devoted to the artistic exploits and thoughts of three O’Keefe sisters — a fraction of the thirteen O’Keefe siblings haling from Biloxi, MS. We have tons of talented family ~~ up, down, and sideways on the family tree . More about them later.
We are Maureen, Cecilia (or ‘Ceci’ as she is fondly called), and Mary.
During a 2010 workshop at the Artists League of the Sandhills, we were dubbed the ‘Painter Sisters’ (remember the ‘Pointer Sisters‘ of our youth?). The fabulous Maggie Siner taught, and we drooled over, her beautiful compositions, colorful palette, and painterly style.
And we had so much fun, we decided to keep the ‘painter sisters’ tag. This blog will chronicle our art and whatever else we may want to share.
